Product photograph retouch

Retouch:

The client was concerned about the amount of blue from the background seeping through the product and asked if photographic retouching could resolve the issue. As part of the exercise, the 'electric' blue in the background was isolated and its saturation reduced in order to make it less distracting. While the difference between the before and the after is dramatic, the retouch required fine judgements about the amount of colour retained and skillful manipulation in order not to loose the texture of the product.
